Poetry - A consolation of buttertarts

A consolation of buttertarts

I think they group in trays of thirteen

Bakers like thirteen, no one else does

Is it Jesus and his disciples?

But why would that spook anyone?

Do people living on the fourteenth floor know it
s the thirteenth?

Why not the thirteen days of Christmas?

Thirteen maids a-milking?

If there is a gaggle of geese

A murder of crows

I think there should be a consolation of buttertarts
